We installed a new Kohler widespread lavatory faucet on a pedestal sink. To accomplish this, we first disconnected the pedestal from the wall, allowing us to install the new faucet and drain assembly. Once the installation was complete, we reattached the pedestal to the wall and conducted thorough testing to ensure everything was functioning properly. Additionally, we installed a new pressure reducing valve for the building's water supply. This involved adding an expansion tank on the water heater inlet to ensure proper operation. All necessary water piping was included in the project. Our work is backed by a one-year labor warranty, providing peace of mind for any future issues.
I installed a new toilet and fill valve, starting with the removal and proper disposal of the old toilet. Upon inspection, it was evident that the water leakage originated from the fill valve. I attempted to secure the waterline back onto the valve, but it began to move, indicating it wasn't adequately tightened. This likely caused the water leakage. I ensured the new fill valve was securely fastened, resolving the issue and preventing further leaks.
I addressed issues with two faucets today. The lavatory faucet had malfunctioning handles, so I coordinated with Moen for replacement parts. For the touchless Delta faucet, I identified a missing and corroded gasket. I informed the customer that parts wouldn’t be on hand and arranged for Moen to resolve it. The customer was pleased to have both issues covered under warranty.
Remove old saddle valve that leaks. During the evaluation we noticed he needed new main shutoffs due to there only being one when there’s supposed to be two and it’s an old gate valve
Upon evaluation, we identified a leaking water heater as the primary concern. During our inspection, we also discovered that the water softener was leaking from the head. We presented the homeowner with options to either replace both the water heater and the softener or just the heater. Opting for efficiency, the homeowner chose to replace only the water heater. We successfully installed a Bradford White 40-gallon natural gas power vent water heater, ensuring a seamless and efficient installation process. The new unit is now functioning optimally, providing reliable hot water supply.
