Service

Emergency service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays, for Done Right Advantage Plan members.

Emergency service is intended for situations requiring immediate attention to help prevent further property damage, protect the health and safety of occupants, or restore essential plumbing service. Maxwell-White Plumbing reserves the right to determine whether a service call qualifies as an emergency based on the circumstances reported by the customer.

Membership provides priority access to emergency service but does not guarantee immediate arrival or completion of repairs. Standard service charges, repair costs, and applicable membership terms still apply.

Planned Maintenance

As part of your Done Right Advantage Plan membership, Maxwell-White Plumbing will provide an annual maintenance visit for the covered plumbing system. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you to schedule your annual visit; however, it is ultimately the homeowner’s responsibility to schedule and complete the maintenance visit.

Annual maintenance appointments are subject to technician availability and may be affected by weather, holidays, or other scheduling considerations.

Maintenance visits must be scheduled while your membership is active. If your membership is canceled before the annual maintenance visit is completed, the visit will not be performed and no refund or credit will be provided for the missed visit.

Maxwell-White Plumbing may provide reminders or contact you regarding scheduling, but is not responsible for completing the annual maintenance visit if the homeowner does not schedule or make the property available for the appointment.

Water Heater Flush

As part of the Done Right Advantage Plan annual maintenance visit, Maxwell-White Plumbing may perform a water heater flush when the water heater is determined to be suitable for the service.

Water heater flushing is generally limited to water heaters that are 10 years old or less and systems that are in suitable condition and have adequate capacity to safely perform a flush.

Maxwell-White Plumbing will determine whether a water heater is suitable for flushing based on its age, condition, type, accessibility, and other relevant factors. If the technician determines that flushing is not appropriate, the service will not be performed.

Flushing an older or deteriorated water heater can potentially expose existing weaknesses or cause leaks or other failures. Maxwell-White Plumbing is not responsible for consequential damages, leaks, failures, or repairs that may result from attempting to flush a water heater that is already deteriorated or otherwise compromised.

The water heater flush is a maintenance service and is not a guarantee against future water heater failure or other plumbing issues.

Priority Scheduling

Done Right Advantage Plan members receive priority scheduling for emergency repair services when immediate attention is needed to help prevent further property damage, protect health and safety, or restore essential plumbing service.

Priority scheduling applies only to qualifying emergency plumbing situations and is intended for issues that require prompt attention.

Priority scheduling does not guarantee immediate service or a specific arrival time and is subject to technician availability.

Non-emergency services, including planned maintenance, inspections, estimates, tune-ups, and routine repairs, are scheduled based on normal scheduling procedures and technician availability and do not qualify for priority scheduling.

Maxwell-White Plumbing reserves the right to determine whether a service request qualifies as an emergency based on the circumstances reported by the customer.

Service Call Fees and After-Hours Rates

Done Right Advantage Plan members receive preferred service call pricing as part of their membership.

  • Standard Demand Service: The standard $99 dispatch/minimum charge is waived for members who initiate a demand repair service call. The technician will evaluate the issue, explain the available options, and provide upfront pricing before any work begins.
  • If You Proceed With the Work: The member dispatch/minimum charge is waived when you approve and proceed with the recommended work. The approved repair price is the price you pay—there is no separate $99 dispatch charge added to the cost of the work.
  • If You Decline the Work: If you choose not to proceed with any work after the technician has evaluated the issue, the $99 dispatch/minimum charge is still waived as a benefit of your membership.
  • After-Hours Emergency Service: For qualifying emergency service calls outside of normal business hours, the member dispatch fee is reduced from $350 to $299. The $299 fee covers dispatching a licensed plumbing professional to the property and does not include repairs or other work performed.

Once the technician arrives for an after-hours emergency call, they will evaluate the issue and provide options and pricing before any additional work begins. No repair work will be performed without the homeowner’s approval.

Standard service rates apply to work performed during normal business hours. After-hours emergency rates or additional charges may apply based on the timing and nature of the service.

Courtesy Minor Fixes and Adjustments

As part of the Done Right Advantage Plan, Maxwell-White Plumbing may perform certain minor plumbing fixes or adjustments at no additional charge during the member’s annual maintenance visit.

Courtesy minor fixes and adjustments are provided only during the annual maintenance visit and are not available as a standalone service or during separate demand repair calls.

These may include minor adjustments or simple corrections that can be safely and reasonably completed during the scheduled annual visit.

Any repair or service that falls outside the scope of a minor fix or adjustment will be discussed with the homeowner and quoted before work is performed.

Courtesy minor fixes are subject to technician availability, the condition of the plumbing system, and the amount of time reasonably available during the annual visit.

Courtesy minor fixes do not include parts, major repairs, replacement of equipment or fixtures, or work requiring additional labor or materials beyond the scope of the annual visit.

Main Drain Line Evaluation and Camera Inspection

As part of the Done Right Advantage Plan, Maxwell-White Plumbing will evaluate the condition of the home’s main drain piping during the annual maintenance visit.

  • Annual Main Drain Evaluation: The technician will visually evaluate accessible main drain piping and related components inside the home for signs of deterioration, leaks, improper connections, or other conditions that may affect the performance of the drain system.
  • Camera Inspection: A main drain camera inspection may be performed every other year or as needed, based on the condition and age of the piping, the technician’s observations, or other concerns identified during the annual evaluation.

Camera inspections are subject to accessibility and the condition of the existing piping. If additional work is recommended based on the evaluation or camera inspection, the technician will discuss the findings and provide options and pricing before any work is performed.

The annual evaluation and camera inspection are intended to help identify potential drain-line concerns before they develop into larger problems but do not guarantee that future drain or sewer issues will be prevented.

Limits of Liability

The annual maintenance visit is intended to help identify potential plumbing concerns and provide the homeowner with an understanding of the condition of their plumbing system. Homeowners are encouraged to participate in the visit, ask questions, and observe the conditions identified by the technician.

The annual maintenance visit is an evaluation and maintenance service and is not a guarantee that plumbing failures, leaks, or other problems will not occur after the visit.

Maxwell-White Plumbing is not responsible for consequential or incidental damages resulting from existing conditions, concealed defects, system failures, or conditions that may develop after the annual maintenance visit. This may include, but is not limited to, property damage, delays, service interruptions, or the unavailability or delayed availability of parts or equipment.

Maxwell-White Plumbing will communicate identified concerns and recommended repairs or replacements to the homeowner. Any repairs, fixes, or replacements recommended as a result of the annual maintenance visit qualify for the member’s 5% discount, subject to the terms and exclusions of the membership.

The homeowner remains responsible for making decisions regarding recommended repairs and for maintaining the plumbing system between annual maintenance visits.

Adjustments

Maxwell-White Plumbing reserves the right to modify membership benefits, fees, or terms from time to time. Any changes will be provided to members in writing at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Changes to membership fees will not affect the current billing period and will be communicated in advance of the next applicable charge.

If a change materially alters the benefits or terms of the membership, Maxwell-White Plumbing will provide notice outlining the change and its effective date.
